Accessibility Statement
Version 1.1
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
Berth Right MGMT LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as BerthRight — Marina Management Platform
Our Commitment
BerthRight is committed to making our website and product accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to conform to widely recognized accessibility standards and to identify and fix barriers as we find them.
Conformance Target
Our accessibility target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are also working toward conformance with the more recent WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard as we continue to improve the site and product.
WCAG 2.1 AA is not currently a legal requirement for a business like BerthRight under federal disability law, but it is the standard most widely used by courts, regulators, and businesses as the practical benchmark for private-sector web accessibility, and we’ve adopted it as our own target for that reason.
Scope
This statement covers:
- The BerthRight marketing website (berthright.app and its public pages).
- The End-User-facing booking interface — the pages boaters use to view availability, make reservations, and manage their account with a marina that uses BerthRight.
A note on the marina staff console: BerthRight’s internal operator console (used by marina staff for day-to-day management — billing, reporting, configuration, etc.) is a separate interface with its own accessibility work in progress. We are extending the same WCAG 2.1 AA target to the staff console over time, but our near-term focus has been the public-facing marketing site and the End-User booking interface, since those reach the widest and most varied audience. If a marina staff member needs an accommodation to use the operator console, please contact us using the information below and we will work with you directly.
Current Status and Known Limitations
On August 24–25, 2026 we ran a structured accessibility audit — automated scanning (axe-core and Lighthouse) of the full marketing site and the End-User booking and account portal, plus keyboard-only navigation testing of the booking flow — and fixed every issue those scans identified, including color contrast failures, missing form labels, missing page landmarks and skip links, heading-structure problems, and keyboard access to scrollable content. As of August 25, 2026 the scanned pages pass automated WCAG 2.1 A/AA checks with zero reported violations. Known areas of remaining work:
- Screen reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA) of the booking and account flows has not yet been performed. Automated tools catch only part of what a screen reader user experiences, so we treat this as the most important open item.
- The emailed contract-signing and payment-link pages have been scanned only in their error states, not yet through a complete live signing or payment.
- White-label marina branding themes: our theming system derives accessible text colors from each marina’s chosen brand color, but we have not yet audited individual custom-branded marina sites.
- Third-party embedded components (e.g. the bot-protection widget on public forms) are outside our direct control.
We do not currently claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. This statement will be updated as issues are identified and fixed.
Measures We Take
- Automated accessibility scanning with axe-core (WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules) and Lighthouse across the marketing site and the End-User portal — first full audit completed August 25, 2026, with all reported issues fixed.
- Keyboard-only navigation testing of key user flows, beginning with the booking flow — performed August 2026 (focus order, visible focus indicators, skip links, no keyboard traps).
- Manual screen reader testing of those same flows is being introduced and has not yet been completed.
- Color contrast review of text and interactive elements — performed across both surfaces in the August 2026 audit, including our default brand palette.
- Review of new features against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria before release is being built into how we ship changes.
Feedback and Remediation
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or in the BerthRight product, please let us know:
- Email: info@berthright.app
- Phone: (609) 881-2656
Our commitment: We will acknowledge your feedback within 3 business days, and we will work with you to either remediate the specific barrier or provide an alternative way to accomplish what you were trying to do while a fix is in progress.
Alternative Access
If any part of our website or product is not accessible to you, we’re glad to help by phone or email so you (or the marina you’re working with) can still get what you need — whether that’s information about the Service, help making a reservation, or account assistance. Contact us at info@berthright.app or (609) 881-2656.

VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report
A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) / Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) is in development. If your procurement process requires one, contact info@berthright.app for current status and timeline.
We are preparing this documentation specifically because many of our customers are municipal, county, or port-authority-owned marinas that are themselves subject to public-sector accessibility requirements for their own services, and need documentation of BerthRight’s conformance as part of their procurement process.
