How is BerthRight different from the other marina platforms?
Three things. We do not take a percentage of your reservations — we charge one flat monthly fee based on your maximum slip or storage count, whichever is higher. That fee covers the entire software suite; there are no modules or add-ons to buy. And it is white-labeled, so your customers see your marina's name rather than ours.
What does white-label actually include?
Per-tenant primary brand colour, sidebar colour, logo, font selection and login page background. Receipts and portal mail can show your marina name, and your marina lives at a branded subdomain such as yourmarina.berthright.app. Sign-in codes still come from BerthRight.
How does billing work? Are there hidden fees?
You pay one monthly fee based on your maximum slip or storage count, whichever is higher, and it covers the whole suite. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on card and ACH payments. We charge no per-transaction fee, no setup fee and no per-seat charge, and billing is month to month.
Can my staff and customers actually use this?
The interface follows modern conventions: mobile-first layouts, focus states and real input fields. The customer portal is designed for slip holders who do not want to download an app. Staff can be onboarded in an afternoon — most operations are a single click from the slip map.
What about migrating from our existing system?
We load customers, vessels and slips from a spreadsheet, and you can stand up a full dock of slips in one click.
How is my data protected?
Tenant-isolated PostgreSQL with strict marinaId scoping on every query. Clerk manages sign-in, recovery, sessions and optional MFA. All payment data flows through Stripe — we never store card numbers.
